South Idaho Excavation is here to excavate for your new building project. If you
are a homeowner or General Contractor needing excavating done for a new home,
home addition, shop or any other project commercial or residential project give us
a call. We dig for crawlspace construction or a footer for slab on grade. We
coordinate with the concrete crew where to pile the dirt so that they can
efficiently do their job. We strive for efficiency not only for us but those that
come to the job after us.
Backfilling is the process of returning dirt to an area that has been excavated and
the associated work has been done. South Idaho Excavation will backfill and
compact the dirt to specs or allow to natural settle depending on the wants of the
contractor or homeowner. We have a packing wheel for an excavator for bigger
projects and a walk behind jumping jack for smaller jobs. We also will grade
around the project so if a rainstorm comes in the water will drain away from the
site.
South Idaho Excavation installs culverts, digs out settling ponds, or moves dirt to
fix any water or drainage problems that you have.
South Idaho Excavation has dug many basements. Whether it’s a full basement on
a flat lot or a daylight basement on a hill South Idaho Excavation is able to get your
dream accomplished. We can pile the dirt anywhere you like on your property or
haul it off!
If you need a building pad call 208.731.9891. South Idaho Excavation will build
your pad to specs. We will bring the equipment to move the dirt around that you
have or haul in dirt or gravel so that you have the proper drainage away from the
building site. A big pad for a commercial building, a small pad for a portable shed,
and pads for agricultural use are all in our scope.
South Idaho Excavation installs and repair waterlines. We understand the
importance of irrigation in south Idaho and will work quickly to restore water to
your thirsty crops.

We now offer one of the most effective and efficient methods for moving dirt within a jobsite. Our GPS tractor and scaper service can greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy of any earth moving project.
Do you need a service to another location on your property? Whatever it is that
you need a trench for (Irrigation, water, sewer, electrical, etc) we can dig it!
If you need something hauled you have found the right people. We haul dirt,
gravel, stumps, debris of any kind. Just let us know if you need it hauled off or if
you need it hauled on! We bring equipment to load ourselves or will let you load
us with yours.
South Idaho Excavation is Licensed to install basic or complex septic systems.
Basic rock and pipe systems, infiltrator systems, complex drip systems, or systems
with a pump just depending on your needs.
We build and repair driveways to hold up under heavy or light traffic. Its starts
with getting good base and compacting it so it will shed water. Then topping in
with a couple inches of small rock. There are different colors and sizes to choose
from. If we building the driveway to our specs at South Idaho Excavation we
warranty the driveway through the first spring thaw. If you just want a couple
inches of fresh gravel on top of an existing driveway we will do that too.
